TEACHERS ASSOCIATION COMMENDS
LATEST TENURED PROFESSIONALS
Bohemia, NY - The Connetquot Teachers
Association was on hand as the Connequot School District
Board of Education conferred tenure status to 19 teachers
at its May 10th meeting. Following the ceremony at
the Sycamore Avenue Elementary School, in which each
teacher was congratulated by BOE President Mr. Michael
D. Kealey, its trustees and Superintendent Dr. Alan
B. Groveman.
These 19 newly tenured professionals
have completed a period of instruction, and supervision,
earning the respect of administrators, parents and
students. As tenured instructors, these teachers have
proven themselves to be, not only capable professionals
in the classroom but, respected members of the Connetquot
community.
Along with CTA Vice-Presidents Dr.
Brad Lindell, the newly tenured teachers were welcomed
and encouraged them to work together to make our schools,
and organization, even more relevant and effective.
