CONNETQUOT TEACHERS ASSOCIATION COMMENDS
LATEST TENURED PROFESSIONALS

Bohemia, NY - The Connetquot Teachers Association was on hand as the Connequot School District Board of Education conferred tenure status to 19 teachers at its May 10th meeting. Following the ceremony at the Sycamore Avenue Elementary School, in which each teacher was congratulated by BOE President Mr. Michael D. Kealey, its trustees and Superintendent Dr. Alan B. Groveman.

These 19 newly tenured professionals have completed a period of instruction, and supervision, earning the respect of administrators, parents and students. As tenured instructors, these teachers have proven themselves to be, not only capable professionals in the classroom but, respected members of the Connetquot community.

Along with CTA Vice-Presidents Dr. Brad Lindell, the newly tenured teachers were welcomed and encouraged them to work together to make our schools, and organization, even more relevant and effective.

Congratulations to the following newly tenured Connetquot educators:

David Alvarado, Jason Champlin, Andrea Fahey,
Judith Jones, Leah Farrell, Erin Lagnese, Nicole Latino,
Melissa Lorenzo, Brianne Maxim, Megan McDonald, James Nagle, Mary Parisi, Elissa Prisco, Laura Nektaredes, Giuseopina Santi, Maria Seminatore, Jennifer Shanks, Christine Walther, and Pamela Woods

Connetquot Teachers Association congratulates the district’s newest tenured professionals.
