Due to the ongoing mold problems at OBMS and the impact
on the health of students and staff, the Association
had NYCOSH conduct a follow up inspection to the one
conducted in November 2006.
The follow up NYCOSH report stated, "While the
administration has taken some initial steps, the hazards
are far from being controlled and some relatively inexpensive
intermediary measures have not been taken." This
report also addresses many other health and safety concerns.
This report was the impetus for the health and safety
training that was offered to the staff at OBMS by NYCOSH
and the Association in December 2007.
