CONNETQUOT TEACHERS ASSOCIATION SUPPORTS
BIDE-A-WEE PET ADOPTION ORGANIZATION

CTA President Anthony Felicio, Jr., presents a $200 donation to the BideAwee Pet Adoption Center.

Bohemia, NY --- In December of 2016 Connetquot Teachers Association (CTA) President Antony Felicio, Jr., made a donation on behalf of the CTA to the BideAwee Pet Adoption Center after arranging to visit teachers at Connetquot High School. There was so much support for BideAwee and the little friends they brought along, that this year 3 adorable black lab puppies visited Oakdale-Bohemia and Ronkonkoma Middle Schools on December 15th.

CTA President Anthony Felicio, Jr., presented a check in the amount of $200 to “… this wonderful rescue group located in Westhampton, Long Island.” Felicio continued “… our teachers had a chance to visit with the puppies during some free time, to play and share their love with them.” Everyone present agreed that interacting with these beautiful puppies releases stress, and puts a smile on everyone’s face.

The CTA would like to thank Beth Albert, Terry Mennona and Lauralee Flynn for helping organize this year’s BideAwee visit. After visiting the high school in 2016, and the middle schools in 2017, the plan is to have this wonderful rescue organization visit Connetquot’s elementary schools in 2018!

Members of the CTA agree that it is a pleasure supporting such a wonderful organization that does so much for abandoned, and abused, pets, and the families that adopt them. BideAwee is a global leader in animal welfare and is committed to cultivating and supporting the lifelong relationships between pets and the people who love them. BideAwee relies on donations from animal lovers to continue to provide the comprehensive array of high quality services that improve the lives of pets. For additional information contact: www.bideawee.org.

Connetquot School District Board of Education Trustee Milynn Augulis was on hand to welcome BideAwee, and this beautiful puppy, to visit the community.
