CONNETQUOT TEACHERS ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT ATTENDS CRTA FALL LUNCHEON

A message from CTA President Anthony Felicio, Jr., "I had the opportunity to join old friends and colleagues at the recent CRTA's Fall luncheon. 2015 retirees joined in the festivities and report that retirement is treating them well. It is always a pleasure to attend the retiree's luncheons to keep them informed of what is happening in the district as well as hearing their stories and remembrances of their days in the classroom. We all need to remember the sacrifices they made during the very dark times for educators which paved the road for the salaries and benefits we enjoy today. No one gave us anything. We've always had to fight for what we have. It is up to all of us to continue that fight so that what we have today cannot be taken away. Thank you retirees!"
